Welcome to our new website! We hope to post here at least once every two weeks, with tips and information involving stump removal!
Pictured above is the before and after of a stump removal project recently completed in Collegeville. When having a stump removed, it is always important to make sure the removal company grinds down at least 6 inches below the surface level, to ensure proper grass or plant growth in the future. It is also important to make sure that they "tidy up" before leaving. While not all quotes include the removal of the the stump grindings (the mulch leftover after a stump removal) it is not typical for a company to leave the stump grindings strewn around the yard.
It is also important to make sure the company sends an official estimate, not just a verbal agreement, otherwise, you could be held responsible for nearly any price they decide to charge.
